Next week is Holy Redeemer's Lenten Mission. If you are not leaving town for Spring Break, we invite you to join us at Holy Redeemer (503 W. Lyon St.) at 6:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday (March 6-8) for presentations by Steve Angrisano. Steve is a composer, musician and motivational speaker with a powerful message that will appeal to all ages. Monday, his talk will focus on "Encountering Jesus." Tuesday, his topic will be "Responding to God's Mercy." His concluding message will be "Being Missionary Disciples" on Wednesday evening. We will meet at the Campus Religious Center at 5:45 or join us downtown by 6:15pm. We hope to see you there!
Lent is a time for us to individually answer God's call to increase our prayer, fasting and alms-giving. Throughout the season of Lent, there will be opportunities to grow in your faith in your campus community. In addition to our special Lenten activities of Adoration on Mondays, Stations of the Cross on Thursdays, and service through making tie blankets, we also have daily Mass on Tuesday and Thursday at 12:00n (lunch provided after Mass), Adoration on Tuesday evenings from 6p-6:45p, and Reconciliation on Tuesdays from 6p-6:40p and Sundays at 5:45pm. The journey begins with just one step, now is the time to take it!
