On Thursday, March 30, the Chrism Mass for the Diocese of New Ulm was held at the Church of the Holy Redeemer. The priests of the Diocese gathered with Bishop Chad Zielinski, and our Bishop Emeritus John LeVoir, for the blessing of the Oil of the Catechumen and the Oil of the Sick, as well as the consecration of the Chrism Oil. Ashley, one of the students involved at in Catholic Campus Ministries, will be Confirmed at Easter Vigil. She was selected to carry forward a portion of the oil to be consecrated for Chrism. The Mass was a beautiful celebration, with more than 40 members of the clergy present.
